Movies seen in 2024

Dark star 1974.

I haven't seen this since I was a kid, I remember hating it because they all died at the end, watching now as an adult I hate it because it's so fucking boring.

I can never tell if you've actually watched the movies or not.

Oh no @CaptainWacky dude , I have ACTUALLY seen ALL the flix I post about in this here thread.

I give short 100% SPOILER FREE reviews because I DON'T want to SPOIL and ruin flix for folks who are planning on seeing those flix I'm posting about in this here thread.

When it comes to flix , being SPOILED sucks dead bunnies through a broken & busted straw!

My Old Ass (2024) - Coming of age comedy drama where an 18 year old about to leave home (Maisy Stella) does shrooms and meets her older self (Aubrey Plaza) who warns her about her future choices. Is there actual time travel involved? I'm thinking it's really the older version looking back at her life and imagining herself talking to her younger self. But it doesn't matter, it's good. Aubrey isn't in it a ton (but does have one really devastating emotional scene at the end) and Maisy Stella (who I'd never heard of) does a great job carrying it and playing a believable teenage girl (not that I know what they're like.) Some sweet parts and also parts that actually made me feel human emotion. Recommended!

Red one 2024

Or at least the first 30 minutes, everyone seems so miserable, the Rock is one day from retirement and down because more people are naughty than nice, captain America is miserable because his dad left when he was five and he never got over it, he is a slacker and a thief, yet somehow also a genius and the best tracker in the world.

Everyone else is miserable too, even before Santa is kidnapped.

The half hour I watched felt like it took 2 hours.

KRAMPUSSCHLAP!

WOW!

I was just looking at movie theaters in my community's websites & see from the showtimes that that Kraven flick is in dire straits.

What a BOMB!

DAMN!

Kraven will probably be available via streaming probably pretty soon based on its pitiful movie theater performance & box office.

Did anybody here on this here Troll Kingdom see Kraven & if you did , what is your opinion of it?
