OH and I don't need to drink to "cope" with my "problems" either.
I'm fairly happy in my semi-seclusion.
Happy or "Happy"?
(I don't get it?)

Join something that I loathe?
Wouldn't that be more pointless than my current retreat from "life"?

My point is that I think you don't really loathe people. Its just an excuse. Were my previous post(s) not clear?
Am I happy in the sense that I'm fufilled, feel all my needs are met, and am living up to my potential?
No.
I should be writing more, and trying harder to get published. I admit that.
But am I happy in the sense that I'm not in therapy, not completely miserable, and ready to take a high powered rifle to the top of a bell tower?
Yes.
If it's true that all humans NEED social interaction, then I'd say there's a scale involved, and I need significantly less than the average.
well I'd say there is all kinds of social interaction and if the amount of posting you do on messageboards is any indication I say you need way more than the average. Its off the scale! You even create duals to give the illusion that you "socially" interact more than you do.
I do tho Loktar. I may love individual people, but as a group, as a species, I hate humanity.
For everything that we've done to both our planet, and each other, for our shallow pointless culture, for an ocean of blood in our history books, I can think of reason to be proud of being human.
For every step forward, we take ten steps back.
That's not an excuse.
That's how I honestly feel.
No. and I've heard of that, but haven't watched/listened/read or whatever it myself.
It has something to do with Joss Whedon, correct?
Anyway, that's beside the point.
I was expecting you to defend humanity and its works to me, and you haven't so far.
Could it be you acknowledge the validity of my position?![]()
