A thread posted at 12:03 PST and ending at 9:03 PST is less than 48 hrs. Also, if we're going by EST, the voting ended at 3:03 EST. LC's votes were 3 hrs before the cutoff.

She said midnight, PST. I realize that. However, the Spamstitutional law states that the cutoff must be according to EST. If she says midnight, we are to believe that it was supposed to be EST.

Also, the rule states that the election should be held over a 48 hour period, but it doesn't say it has to be exact.

You're splitting hairs way too thin. When she posted the ballot thread, she posted it at 12:03 PST. That's 3:03 EST. She said 48 hrs. 48 hours from 3:03 EST is 3:03 EST two days later. The Spamstitution doesn't say it HAS to be exact, but the ballot she posted DID say it was to be 48 hours. She simply clarified the general time frame given by the Spamstitution. Since the Spamstitution doesn't specify the exact cutoff time over a 48 hour period, it's clearly up to the person creating the ballot thread to set exact time frame parameters.
 
Bottom line IMHO

Mods should be ppl with personal stake in their subforums and spend a decent to considerable amount of time posting on that forum.



Dirk, I dont see you really giving half a damn about the Badlands, and I dont see you posting in here all that often (granted Ive only been back a few days).

Why do you wanna be the mod here? Rly. If its just for shitz, giggles and lulz, MM might instate you regardless of the election results. Think of the drama. You lose but become mod anyway.

So just concede and ride with whatever wave hits you.
