My favorite role of Andre's is in Princess Bride. But he was my hero in Vince McMahons original wrestling show.
 
Andre died during childbirth.

They couldn't get the "jaws of life" and the crane in place for the c-section in time.

I saw a really poorly shot match of him wrestling Gorilla Monsoon in the late 70's, in Puerto Rico, I think. It was outside, and a thunderstorm had drenched the ring, so they were wrestling on the outside. They both had boxing gloves, so it was a sorta boxing match. It was ultimaltely very entertaining, watching Monsoon take comedy bumps into puddles.
 
I have decided I would like to rent a midget, buy an organ grinder and have him perform on the corner for tips and awkward sidelong glances.

I remember when he did a match with George "The Animal" Steele. At one point Steele was gnawing on his forehead and blood was pouring all over everything.
