Jaguars sign defensive tackle Akeem Spence, place Marcell Dareus on injured reserve
the Jaguars made the decision to place Dareus on injured reserve, which means that he will have to miss the next eight weeks if he comes back at all. Spence never spent more than one season with an NFL team after leaving Tampa Bay. In all, he has made 186 tackles, 19 tackles for loss, 10.5 sacks and four fumble recoveries in 94 career games.

The Browns have been calling around the league, seeking help at offensive tackle, according to league sources. The Browns benched starting left tackle Greg Robinson for Sunday's game against New England. The Jets have been receiving calls about defensive lineman Leonard Williams and wide receiver Robby Anderson, according to sources.

The Jets will receive a third-round pick in 2020 and a fifth-rounder in 2021, a source told Schefter. The fifth-round pick in 2021 will become a fourth-rounder if Williams signs an extension with the Giants before the start of the 2021 league year. The Jets are paying $4 million of the $6 million remaining on Williams' contract this year.

Cardinals get RB Kenyan Drake from Dolphins
Drake, the Dolphins' leading rusher, did not travel with the team for it's Monday night contest against the Pittsburgh Steelers in anticipation of a trade. Multiple teams had called the Dolphins about Drake ahead of Tuesday's NFL trade deadline, sources told Schefter.
