James van Riemsdyk will head back to the team that drafted him after agreeing to sign a five-year, $35 million deal with the Philadelphia Flyers.

He was drafted by No.2 overall by the Flyers in 2007.

Van Riemsdyk is coming off a six-year, $25.5 million deal he signed with the Toronto Maple Leafs prior to the 2012-13 season.
 
Defenseman Drew Doughty had agreed to an eight-year, $88 million contract extension through the 2026-27 season to stay with the Los Angeles Kings.
 
Forward Jay Beagle is leaving the Capitals, agreeing to a four-year, $12 million contract with the Vancouver Canucks.

Beagle was part of the Washington Capitals run to the Stanley Cup title, scoring seven goals with 15 assist in the regular season and chipping in another two goals and six assist in the playoffs.
 
Forward Matt Cullen is returning to the Pittsburgh Penguins, signing a one-year, $650,000 deal.

Cullen, 41, has played one-year contract's for each of the last past three seasons
 
Free-Agent defenseman Ian Cole signed a three-year contract with the Colorado Avalanche.

Cole was traded twice in February, going from Pittsburgh to the Ottawa and then being dealt to Columbus less than a week later.
 
The Boston Bruins have re-signed forward Sean Kuraly to a three-year deal. The contract has an annual cap hit of $1.275 million
 
The New York Islanders agreed to a one-year deal with free-agent forward Tom Kuhnhackl on Monday. The 26-old right wing had four goals and 12 assist in 57 games for Pittsburgh last season.
 
The Carolina Hurricanes and goalie Petr Mrazek have agreed to a one-year deal worth $1.5 million.

He has a career record of 78-64-23 with goals-against average of 2.66 and a .911 save percentage.

Neal gets a five-year deal with an average annual value of $5.75 million.

De Hann had a goal and 11 assist in 33 games with the New York Islanders last season but missed the final 49 games with an shoulder injury.

The Vegas Golden Knights have signed defensiveman Colin Miller to a four-year contract.

The deal runs through the 2021-22 season and pays an average of $3.87 million.
