Okay

welcome back, EloiseL! I'd love to see the pics. Butterflies, flowers, arts and sights is just my cup of tea. Porn is widely overrated anyway.

Road trip with El: 1000 miles locked in a car with that weird smell of baby powder and impending death, Legends of the 40's radio, and the left blinker on the entire time.

Sounds like a real hoot.

You wouldn't smell the baby powder from your position tied to the roof.

You can cut the sexual tension with a knife between these two.

I know. Same souls, different bodies. They just need to quit calling each other and meet up in person. It is awesome that they've found each other in this day and time when same sex unions are becoming legal. I wish them all the best in their future wedded bliss.

Looky there - Eloisel implied I'm gay. For shame.

I would have thought a gay lame was beneath you. There I go giving you too much credit again. Not to worry. It won't happen again.

Amateur.

The Call Of Nature: looks very nice. Would you recommend that one?
(in re: San Antonio hotel)
It depends on what you are looking for in a hotel. I wanted a place with a comfortable bed to sleep for one night, a place to park my car, the area to be safe and close to things I planned to do the next day. The room was moderately priced with my AARP discount - only $90 including tax. It was a clean, non-smoking room with two comfortable beds, free internet access, and all the other amenities. I'll stay there again. The location was perfect. There were three really nice restaurants and lots of shopping across the street and the trolley stop for pickup to several downtown locations two blocks away. The staff was exceptionally nice and the free breakfast was acceptable - cereal, fruit and coffee.

The hotel in Austin was much nicer and had a small kitchen. It was more expensive although we got a good deal on our rooms because of a special they were running back in August for the October ACL event. Each suite was just under $400 for three nights, including all the taxes and fees. It was an excellent suite - living room, kitchen, bedroom, bath, walk-in closet, grocery store on premises, swimming pool, laundry, etc., and the free breakfast was spectacular. We didn't really need all those services and we were never around to take advantage of the free mixer complete with food and drinks in the evenings, but it was nice to have all those options.

We ate at the following places in Austin:
Oasis on Lake Travis
Kerbey Lane Cafe on Guadalupe
The Cheesecake Factory
Marie Callendar's
Mimi's
and Riley's BBQ in Blanco.

While they are all good, Kerbey's is still my favorite. The food at Mimi's was super delicious too - corn chowder and 4 cheese ravioli. Yum. Yum. and Yum.

that San Antonio one sounds good :) I have pretty much the same priorities as you: a clean quiet place to sleep at a decent price, strategically placed near my sightseeing targets (or at least a bus stop) and in not too dangerous a neighbourhood.

The Austin one sounds awesome! That'd be just the thing for a long stay. Or for a honeymoon :)

Must shock folks when that 3 foot noggin comes popping out of the ol PT.
Do you just peer over the windshield to drive or?

Hey, aren't you supposed to be ignoring me?

Now I feel like I need to wash.

Nope - PT is friends' car. I sit in the back.

Something I heard a long time ago:
"The measure of a person is from the neck up."

I was ignoring you. Did you post anything of worth I might want to catch up on before I put you back on ignore?

You do need to wash. Use soap and hot water this time, and deoderant after, before you put on clean clothes. K. Just saying. (and, don't forget to use baby powder)

According to the picture you posted your head takes up most of the interior front and back.

I want to tell you I appreciate the honesty you're willing to display. Not many people want to admit that being in contact with them requires a person to subject themselves to a thorough cleaning. Consider it done in honor of you forthrightness.

K? Just saying.
