I keep seeing the trailers for the new 300 movie with EVA GREEN and I get confused thinking why are they calling Penny Dreadful 300? and then I think SHE IS IN MORE THAN ONE THING DODO.
 
The difference is Penny Dreadful might actually be good.

It was good!!

I did have to watch parts of it through my fingers, especially the first 5 minutes and the last 5 minutes... but the last 5 minutes weren't at all what I was expecting so I was a dingdong.

Eva Green has finally got a TV show that doesn't suck, IMO! She is perfect in this.

I WOULD MURDER THE WORLD.

There was some nudity, but not Eva Green nudity YET.
 
OH I forgot to say yesterday that I watched the first episode. I liked it but it wasn't a blowaway great pilot or anything. I think because I thought Johs Hartnett was the audience point of view character then he disappeared halfway through that kind of threw me and I lost track of what was going on. But Eve Green and her eyes were good.
 
WTF? Weirdness... I thought the seance was going to be one of those sham things, but then Eva Green and her eyes TOOK OVER.

The Egyptologist guy is freaking hilarious. I love his weird hair.

BILLIE PIPER!! The guy playing Dorian Gray is fucking hot. People are complaining about Billie's Irish accent being fucking horrible, and then other people are claiming it's perfect for the time period. I don't have a clue, but she is a bit hard to understand.

Poor Frankenstein. I think he had the horn for Proteus!
 
OMFG Eva Green just rules all that there is to rule with her Eva Green acting.

The ending was pretty great.
