Flip flops are the next best thing to sandals.
 
To be clear, flip flops are different from sandals, right? Flip flops have no closing mechanism, they just slip on. Hence the name.

I just wanted this clarified. Because I'm wearing sandals right now, and I want to feel good about myself.
 
I have tons of sandals that just slip on. God inspired the making of this type of footwear just for me.

plus, they come in many pretty colours.
 
and you can walk in (or on!), water with them.
 
Flip Flops are for lazy fuckers too lazy to tie their shoes. Like me.
 
Crocs are worse, and a large number of sorely dim people are wearing them now

And even worse, they seem to wear the fuckers with just about any clothing combination. I'm no fashion expert, but these things are just dumb unless you're on a beach.
 
Socks were invented for a reason.
 
I have flip flops for every occasion. EVEN STEPPING IN COW POO FLIP FLOPS.

Fancy sandle flip flops are fine. But I have to agree, the lazy I don't have any better shoes to wear flip flops with no manicured toes are ugly. [/end Laker_Girl Rant]

to clarify, it's not a "flip-flop" unless it makes that flip flop noise when you walk in them. if you just shuffle around, it's not authentic.
 
I flip flop all over the place.
