I like to take a moment to point out: it gives me great pleasure for you to publicly admit everything I've been screaming about EI for...what?...two years now?...is true.

I don't agree with Rhea about her thoughts on Cait, RObL and A Karas, but she is posting her her perception of the situation. And while I can admire her stance that she wont' ay something behind some ones back, it really isn't helping things at all. It is engendering hard feelings and furthering feelings of a divide - but then again some people can only see a divide.

We can't demand or legislate that every one like each other but I sure wish that people would THINK before they post.

T-True / truthfull to the best of ones knowledge
H - honest to ones bleiefs, opinions, in short to ones self
I - Important
N - Necessary
K - Kind and I so much believe that one can disagree, hold very differeing opinions and points of view and still express them in a kind and respectful manner - without loosing one iota of firmness and passion for ones views.

People seem to have decided that being kind means being wimpy and that is so untrue.

And the next time you try and legislate what is said about someone, shut down a discussion with warnings when it is just 'a posters opinion' being expressed, or ban someone because of 'honest opinions, I'm going to quote your own words to you on EI. ;)

Fasten your seat belt, because it's going to be a bumpy ride over the next few months if 'expressing an honest opinion' can get you a free reign to begin threads to ostensibly flame other posters. Bumpy indeed.

Save it. Your credibility was shot eons ago. Go back and preach it at EI where there are some who actually believe anything you say.

The ultimate chaos that can be unleashed on EI...besides releasing SL threads for a good read...is to openly make this point over there.
 
Cait, I mever said that just because it was her 'honest opinion' that it was right or unwarnable. I'm not a mod in AQG, I can't issue warnings there.

Truth is, I don't think she should get a warning. She hasn't used bad language or anything. Nothing against the rules really, well, except for the whole personal attacks thing. ;) I assume she is getting a lot off her chest. I'm happy to accommodate her. I hope she'll be as open minded when *I* need to get some things off my chest. ;)

I hope you will too Shal. You've been conspicuously absent from that thread, and even if it is not your forum you usually show up to offer your opinion in AGQ. I'm actually shocked you haven't had a single thing to say. I would hope, that when *I* need to unload in AQG you will remain just as conspicuously absent so I can 'speak *MY* mind.

Fair is *fair* after all.

When you were being more than a little nasty in the Messenger thread ( though not specifically at me ) did I say anything about that? no

I am not the most tactful of people, I tend to be very no nonsense and blunt. At times it is very hard for me to figure out how to get what I want to say across in a 'kind and gentle' fashion. And often it is just as wrong to tell some one they are wrong in the wrong manner as it is for the person to be wrong ( sighs - does that make sense?)

Cait I have always defended your right to critize, and while I don't always agree with you, I do respect you and your opinions.

I have never attacked you, especially not for being yourself.

Some day, I don't know when, but some day.. people like you will read for actual comprehension when I post.

I never said you slammed me. I never said you did anything wrong. I merely pointed out that what you allow to occur [as a Staff] now will come back to bite you later. And I'm right, it will.

I'm asking for the same stand-offishness when I complain in the future, as you're allowing Rhea now. Where in there is there any comment that you said or did anything previously to harm me?

Please, please......... try and read without dubbing in some kind of complaint toward you that does not exist. I'm stating that through precedent, you are opening the door to future trolling and flaming. Pointing that out isn't slamming you, or criticizing your treatment of me in the past, it is a prediction of and a request for the future.

And FTR, I find it a little disingenuous to call the way I post rude and a little nasty and the way *you* post as sometimes lacking in tact. When the truth is we are both direct and to the point. You just don't like my point [along with others] and don't know how to debate me without making my 'manner' an issue. ;)

Naw, he's not really - just a very hands off sort of person. It makes it all the more effective when the 'voice of Rov' descends from out of the wild blue. And he's busy as all hell now with RL( I think he's trying to get a law degree in 18 months or some other record time )
