RIP Leonard Nimoy - LLAP

I wish he would just get off twitter for a couple days, I don't think this is good for him. They need to leave him the fuck alone.
 
I don't condone people trying to guilt trip a celebrity they've never met, but I am always very skeptical that he's even aware he has a twitter account, so I wouldn't worry too much. Even during the Q&A he did today about Nimoy, it seemed more like an assistant might be reading the questions to him and dictating his replies, so aside from the newspaper front cover, I doubt he's made aware of any of the negative comments.
 
And why the fuck are they going after him anyway? They were good friends. Was this ever in dispute?He's hurting too. Gods , sometimes people can be such assholes.

Not to add fuel to this fire in a memorial-ish thread, but does anyone else remember when he showed up on TrekBBS about 15 years ago and told people to call him "Punky"? That was a hoot. I think we decided it was his daughter Elizabeth.
 
This Todd Schnitt (the guy who started trolling Shatner over this) is some absolute cunt faced little shock jock that shares a radio station with Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity. I think that speaks volumes. He's, unbelievably, trying to milk publicity out of this.
 
Shatner obviously arranged this charity events months in advance KNOWING the exact date of Nimoy's death and funeral. Wake up, sheeple!

Seems a little harsh on JJ, if making a shitty star trek film earns you a place in Hell there are plenty of people ahead of him in the queue.
 
Guy just lost a close friend, can't even get to the funeral, and these little toe-headed shit nibblers are fucking with him over it? I hope every single one of them gets Lupus, Parkinson's, and pinkeye, then all suffer explosive rectal prolapses, in public, while being interviewed by Conan O'Brien.

In short: Fuck. Them.
