And since you guys discuss all the important stuff over IM and emails and chat he for all intents and purposes is in the Shelter.
The so called Shelter has almost nothing but stupid topics about people who only report other peoples posts with maybe a thread or two thrown in for good measure. Unless you are telling us there are dozens of threads never released like they were supposed to be.
I do remember however it being mentioned that all the important stuff is discussed like I said above. In fact I think it was you who mentioned it.

When anything is discussed in chat it is either in the open chatroom where *anyone* there reads it or it is in a hidden room that Bear is not invited to. And that doesn't even happen very often. Ask O2C if Bear was there, in fact.
Chat is seperate entity from the board. It isn't even Lanzman's, in fact. It is Elwood's still and Bear works for him.
Bear has zero knowledge and say in policy on the board and that is a *fact*. Just because he likes to pretend he still does and people believe it doesn't make it true.

Sorry, but as someone who is in chat quite often, you guys couldn't be more wrong about this. Chat is just somewhere where we all have a lot of fun. :shrug:

You're the one that made it sound like Chat was some bastion of secret society, an elite council floating above the clouds existing solely to terrorize your plebian existence. And while I'm sure they do probably use chat for communication as it is *gasp* a very convenient medium for communication, it was your hyperbolic implication that it was something more that I was pointing out as factually inaccurate.
Teh drama...I was sympathetic to you guys (and still am on some level) but IMO, sounds to me like people are starting to see things where nothing exists.

I know where he has access and I just double-checked to be sure and he doesn't have any permissions that other regular posters don't have.

Ok you seem to be missing the point here.
You go to a chat room for Wordforge. That is a public chat room where access is open to all. You however do not have access to the private chat room where the mods discuss board issues.
There is more then one chat room yet you only have access to one of them.
Get it now?

Whatever. I have no interest in discussing rumors that, from where I'm standing, seem founded on nothing more than baseless paranoia anyway. Either pony up some proof, or you'll have to find someone else to entertain them, sorry.

Well, it only exsists at all when something needs to be discussed, which is actually fairly rare.
That meeting O2C referenced was the first one I know of in months. There is rarely anything to discuss at this point. 99% of all communications is by PM and is about Technical problems, poster's PM'd questions/complaints and operations stuff like dealing with spambots, how much nipple is obscene and defining "is".
So far Lanzman seems to prefer talking in the Shelter the most, I don't even know his phone number and there was that one chat meeting we are very clearly hiding since we are freely talking about it. :lol:

And if people checked the shelter often enough so that conversation could proceed smoothly, I've little doubt most conversations would take place there. PM's are faster, chat faster still. The PM's however, are most often technical and boring.

How much more proof do you need? Actual chat logs? Sorry you'll have to ask Tamar or O2C for those.

It's not like there are big discussions with all the staff plotting together that aren't released, most of us aren't even in any of those conversations by pm or whatever, or they might just be between 2 or 3 mods asking those who are online to take a look at something and give their opinion.
From the top of my head I can only recall a handful of PM conversations over the past 18 months where all the staff have been on the list, and that has generally just been a case of situations where Elwood wanted to make sure everyone saw the information.
