The clip seemed very sterile, like it was wrote and directed by an AI.

Why not straight up Kermit play Pike.

Credits would say:

Kermit as Captain Pike
Miss Piggy as Captain Marie Patel
Janice as Number One.
Etc.

So this era of Star Trek is coming to an end, and it occurred to me that it's so quiet. Back in 2005 there was an effort to save Enterprise to no avail but this time it just feels like everybody's sort of shuffling their feet and looking at the floor.
 
Is everything coming to an end? The interest in the next Star Wars movie is underwhelming. We're farther out from the next MCU movie, but I'm not going to say people are clamoring for it. Or whatever's next for Bond.
