ILLEGALS are not IMMIGRATING. Immigration is legal. What they are doing is not legal.

And all of the different points that have been raised here, from depression of local economies to tax burdens on the legal population demonstrate why what these people are doing is wrong, and thus why it is illegal.

I didn't say it wasn't illegal. So's a lot of stuff. But Employers will turn a blind eye to that because maximizing profits, is, wait for it, profitable.

You can curb this shit easily enough, without closing borders. That was my point, and I made it and its solid becuase its true.

If color doesn't matter, they why did you say "white person" in the first place. you could have said "citizen" without even mentioning race, but you didn't.

And I agree with you that it's profitable for employers -- so take away the profits they gain by doing it.

And yes, our borders should be secure, or they're not real borders. As I've already pointed out, we already have all the military personnel and hardware necessary to do the job -- we're simply squandering it carrying out somebody else's vendetta.

No they aren't. As I've already explained in this thread, the U.S. imposes quotas on the number of green cards it hands out. Only a very small percentage of people who want green cards each year actually get them, thus making it impossible for hundreds of thousands of people to immigrate legally. If we abolished the quotas, illegal immigration would drop to almost zero.

You're missing the point of what I am saying. I AGREE with you. I KNOW its illegal we're talking about STOPPING the problem, the discussion is on HOW to best go about it.

That's not the solution either, since all those "illegal" immigrants simply skipped the "steps" required to do it legally.

Okay, then. Well, here's my point -- you raise the minimum wage, that isn't going to change anything -- if anything, it'll make more Americans lose their jobs to illegals, because it only further widens the disparity between legal and illegal wages.

If you want to suggest a change to the minimum wage, it should be reduced in order to reduce the employer's perception of the difference in profits.

But even that would not have as dramatic and immediate a change as levying heavy fines against employers -- in the first case, the employer's profits slow -- in the second, they disappear entirely.

We do the same thing at our hotel. The only blacks are Jamaicans although there are white Russians of various countries too, all working for minimum wage, which is what 5.75 an hour. Everyone else makes twice that and more, and these are all legal hires.

So, I guess I'm seeing everyone's point, there's the solution, hire the "niggers" to do the shit work, because compared to where they really come from, minimum is a fucking goldmine for their standard of living, and they'll happily clean and scrub, where we won't. Now does that make us lazy, or smart?

So, we do the American thing, which is to take advantage of those in the guise of using the American Way to uplift them, and split the profits with the upper class.

I think I'm beginning to understand.

Militarizing the boarder would cost billions upon billions of dollars a year--you would spend much more money on the tens of thousands of boarder agents it would take to seal the boarder than you would save on social services. The most cost effective way to raise wages is to enforce minimum wage laws. Sealing off the boarder isn't about saving money, it's about keeping out the brown people. It's about keeping the nation white and "racially pure."
