Looking forward to it. I might actually watch the first season again as it might be easier to follow on second viewing.

I had a few non book reader friends who I'd really hyped it up with, only for them to constantly (and reasonably) complain they didn't know what was going on.

They did do that episode late in the season from Julie's point of view that explained what was going on pretty well.
