The Expanse

It was good, but not much really happened.

The bits on Anderson Station were from a short story that setup the guy from TWD's character. I don't think they made it clear that all of that stuff happened in the past.

I know it said 11 years ago, but I couldn't figure out the significance. This is why I want to see the episode again, maybe I missed something.

The guy who was in charge of massacring the people on the station back then became known as the Butcher of Anderson Station and is the same guy who messaged Holden and his friends, offering to take them in. So I guess it was shown to make you question whether it was a good idea for them to meet up with him.

Is he the same guy who was talking to the Mormon guy and then got all the Mormons off the ship?

Fred The Butcher is OPA (despite earlier being in charge of a miner massacare) and I can't remember if the mormon guy is.

WAIT... lol

Ok, Fred the butcher was the guy in the space suit watching the dead people float around after the massacre. Is he the same guy who was on the ship talking to the Mormon dude (and then told someone to get all the Mormon's off the ship), and also is he the same guy who sent Holden and crew the message and instructions to change the ship's transponder (or whatever they called it).

OR

Is Fred the Butcher the black guy? I know the black guy is OPA.

I thought we were talking about more than one person, AND I STILL DON'T KNOW IF WE ARE.

Those are all the same guy. It's the guy from The Walking Dead. Not sure why they didn't make it clear in the instance with the bodies floating in space. You couldn't tell he had anything to do with it, even tho the only reason to even show that event is to make it clear he's a bad apple.

OKAY THANKS!

The reason I was confused is because I didn't get a good look at the guy in the space suit, and the glimpse I got of him I thought he was white.

THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR PATIENCE :rwmad:

WELL, the spacesuit guy was saying something like "good job commander", which made it seem like he was a subordinate who'd gone down to have a look and report back to Black Guy, but then the text on screen said Spacesuit Guy was the butcher of Anderson station. And there's only one of those and its Black Guy, so Spacesuit Guy must be Black Guy.

Hopefully they'll make it clearer next week.

They could get one of the other dead black guys form Walking Dead to play another character and really confuse people.

It was a good episode even though not much happened. The characters are more clearly defined now. I wasn't sure about the guy playing Amos (the guy who always wants to shoot people) at first but he was good here. I liked the shot of Avasarala walking through the snow in her big coat.

Yeah, I really like the actors playing the characters. The guy playing Amos looked a bit sweet at first, but he did a good job bringing out the jerk!

I was just thinking last week that Amos reminded me of a buffer Chief Tyrol, speaking of whom...

Chief was in this week's episode of The Flash, and man is he fat and old now!
