The Walking Dead season 6

I liked when they were trying to pick a head that looks like Gregory. They should have more severed head based humour.

It seems the foreshadowing is obvious on what the season finale cliffhanger will be.

Consider the first encounter with the Negan bunch when the group was informed that Negan's people usually beat someone to death right off the bat.
Then Glenn sees the pictures on the wall of people who were beaten so badly their faces were obliterated, just hair and clothes left to identify them.
Negan's bunch has Maggie. They have good reason to want to destroy all of Rick's group now after the attack and slaughter at their compound.
In the comics, Glenn is beaten to death in front of Maggie.
However, Glenn has an uncanny knack for surviving the most incredible circumstances.
Then, there is Abraham making a choice between the women.

The season finale cliffhanger is going to be a body with black or dark hair, face obliterated, wearing almost recognizable clothing, displayed face up for the viewing audience to see and speculate all intermission long on who the body belonged to.

Is it Glenn? Or, is it Daryl? Or, is it the chick Abraham forsook? Or, is it Maggie? Or, is it Carl? Or, is it the doctor's girlfriend? Or, is it the quack scientist who didn't really have a cure that just learned how to fight?

Some people might not want to know spoilers from the comics...

(Of course there's no guarantee something done in the comics will happen in the show as there's been some pretty big differences.)

There are valid arguments for both, and as I have said and others, the tv show has gone so far away from the comics as to become a whole different, and pleasant, entity of its own. There is certainly the foreshadowing you mentioned; but there is also the knowledge that Norman Reedus is moving to bigger and better things. Hell, maybe they'll swerve us all and kill Rick. I could see that happening.

While Rick and company are having a fairly successful campaign against Negan, what is happening back on the home front? Might the main force be taking out Carl and company? As scary as it was for Carol and Maggie there for a bit, it all still seemed just a tad too easy for their level of escaping harrowing situations. Rick can be quite the psycho with little provocation now. If Negan's bunch did something to Carl or Judith, there might be a level a crazy there that would scare even the zombies.

I can see it now. We see Rick, standing alone on the road, in a ready to fight stance. Wide shot to see he is facing a massive hoard of the Walking dead. Zoom on to see him flick his wrists, adjusting his grip on the machete in each hand. Zoom back out to see the zombies in the lead seem to focus their dead eyes on Rick. They stop and raise their hands high over their hands and their moans turn in to a high pitched wail that turns into a roar as the hoard behind them takes up the call. Then, the zombies begin to back up, to even turn aside. None of them will go near Rick.

So another six or so Saviours dead. That's about forty of them by now?

Carol leaving is dumb.

COMIC SPOILERS REGARDING DOCTOR DENISE'S DEATH

It was Abraham who got the arrow through the eye and died in that scene in the book. So either this means they've decided to keep Abraham around or he's going to be the "shock" death in the finale.

Does anyone like Abraham? I found his dick biting comment amusing but other than that I can't stand him. Much preferred Denise. She was a believable person who didn't have weird facial expressions.

She was a better actor than most of them. She was quite believable when she was suddenly giving details of her life for the first time moments before dying.

Why the fuck did Dwight let Eugene bite his dick for about thirty seconds? Why not punch him before that.

I liked the arrow scene, it was very shocking. The horrible unspoken story in the gift shop was pretty gruesome too.

I like Abraham. He's a jerk but he's also the guy you want fighting on your side when the crap hits the fan.

I liked Denise too. Can understand why she wanted to get out and see the world for how it is now. I'd rather Eugene be the one got the arrow through the eye though.

Can understand Carol too. She was a housewife and a mom before all this started. Since she took up with Rick and Co. she's changed into super killer. She'd rather bake cookies. She's tired of killing live people. Maybe she thinks she can avoid all the bad guys if she stays by herself. Maybe she thinks she can better protect the community from a distance.

I still think the person to die will have dark hair and we're going to be left to find out if it is Glenn, Daryl, or one of the other dark-haired people that Negan beats to death with his bat as a season finale. That will leave out Carol, Morgan, and Michonne as we could tell fairly easily if it is one of them.

Found it interesting that Dwight and his men thought the way to get into the compound was to hold Eugene hostage and demand that Daryl meet his demands. I don't care how much you like a person, if it came down to sacrificing that one person to protect the community, you'd probably sacrifice the one person. These are the most desperate of times and Daryl wouldn't be able to waltz those guys in there without a push back from the compound guard anyway.

Donovan, you are probably right.

Reedus has his own show now. Either Daryl will be missing often or they'll kill him off.

Could be they smash in some person's head - it could be Daryl but we don't find out until season after next. If Reedus' show bombs, then it turns out he was being held captive in Negan's dungeon for a whole season and Rick and Co. rescue him.
