AEW Suspends Jeff Hardy Without Pay Following DUI Arrest

Jeff Hardy has been suspended by the AEW without pay following his DUI arrest on Monday, the org. announced Tuesday. "We were able to resume contact with Jeff Hardy this afternoon," AEW President & CEO Tony Khan said in a statement. "AEW does not condone Jeff’s alleged behavior." Khan said Hardy's ban will last until he successfully completes a treatment program and maintains his sobriety. The 44-year-old wrestler signed with the org. this year after a lengthy run in the WWE and is considered one of the company's biggest stars. He was slated to wrestle in an AEW match on Wednesday. As we reported, Hardy was arrested at around 10 AM on Monday morning in Florida, after cops say he drunkenly drove his car through Volusia County highways. He's since been hit with three charges, including felony DUI. It's the third time since 2018 that Hardy has been accused of driving while impaired, he was arrested for the alleged offense in North Carolina in '18 and then again in 2019.

E-40 Predicted Warriors In 6 After Gm 1 Loss, Believes More Titles Coming To GS

It was June 4. The Warriors just blew a double-digit, 4th-quarter lead to the Celtics at home. Many people thought the championship was there for Boston to take. But, not rap legend E-MAIL40... who straight up told us Golden State "in 6." And, that's exactly what happened. 40 even weighed in on the Boston area bar who infamously wrote "Ayesha Curry Can't Cook" on a sign outside their restaurant ... something the diehard Warriors fan says was out of line." They're talking about folks wives. That's their livelihood. Even when they were talking about "Ayesha can't cook." They ain't never tasted her cooking, and it's somebody that's also a chef themself, or got a restaurant that said that, that's just straight hatin'," 40 says.

Martellus Bennett Calls Jimmy Garoppolo A 'Bitch,' Julian Edelman 'Understands' Jab

Ex-NFL star Martellus Bennett just unloaded on Jimmy Garoppolo, saying his former QB in New England is a "bitch" and Julian Edelman seems to be cosigning the jab. Martellus made the remarks when he joined his former Patriots teammates, Devin and Jason McCourty, on their "Double Coverage" podcast claiming no NFL team can win with Jimmy G at the helm because he believes the signal-caller is soft. Bennett went on to explain he developed that opinion following the way Garoppolo filled in for Tom Brady during the GOAT's four-game suspension back in the 2016 season. You'll recall, Garoppolo helped the Pats win the first two games of the season, but he injured his non-throwing shoulder in Week 2, and sat out the ensuing two games due to the ailment -- something Bennett clearly thinks was a no-no. "We lost two games," Bennett said. "One of them is because Jimmy Garappolo was being a bitch. He quit before us on the last -- decided not to play right before the game."
