VKD - Are you still here?

If you're happy with the way your life is, that is fine with me. No skin off my nose. I'm not supporting you. And, age is just a number. I was just hoping for you a place where you could change into your favorite clothes without worrying that your parents, or someone else on the way to the bathroom, would interrupt your privacy and that you would have such a place while you were still able to do things for yourself.

Your post needs more real Eloisel old crone bitterness.

What is the significance of three dollars and change? That's how much I care. It's how much I have in the ashtray on my desk.

Who cares, nobody eats there. It's a shithole.
Seems like New York is full of Leo's. The one we were at isn't the kind of place I'd choose ordinarily but it was convenient since we were already at the location for other purposes. The food, as I recall, wasn't awful, just nothing special.

I liked the deli's in California. Those places were a delight - amazing smells, food hanging from the ceiling, and an incredible selection of everything.

One of these days I'm going to go back to New York for a Hudson River cruise and a tour of the towns alongside.

LOL - that is more than I care then as any ashtray I used to have has long been in the garbage. This is my four year anniversary since quitting smoking.

It's a really nice ashtray. Couldn't just pitch it. Besides, where else am I going to keep my Eloisel is dead and gone bettin' money?

They don't have deli's in California.

Its good that you keep it in the really nice ashtray. Does anyone actually take you up on that bet?

Nah. I'd renig anyway. I'm not spending 3+ dollars on Eloisel. That's a third of a decent cigar.

You do realize that actions speak louder than words. Just how much is your time worth?

P.S. I'm not only acknowledging you, I'm actually exchanging posts with you. How do you like that for details?

Well, I hope you don't consider what I'm doing acknowledging you. Because I don't. This exchange has nothing to do with you afaic.

It's not about what my time is worth. It's about what TK is worth to the people (including myself) who contribute to it's health and welfare.

How do you like that for details?

Well, now you know one of the several reasons why I tend to ignore Gear. He finds me fascinating and I can barely find anything interesting about him. He keeps $3.27, enough to buy lox on a bagel at Leo's Diner, a real shit hole according to those who frequent the joint, or 1/3rd of a really nice cigar, in a really nice ashtray. Woo Hoo! Of course, Jack, dearest, you are about as interesting these days. What are you keeping in your really nice ashtrays?
