VKD: EI one month ban

GC, I think it has to do with someone looking for a way to circumnavigate one part leading to others.

Honestly, I was offline when this all happened so I'm trying to decipher much of this as I go.

So obviously the rest of the staff bullshitted you by providing a way to ban VKD without warning the other members who were happily cursing away.

The word filter has nothing to do with the security of the board. The only reason the board security reason was used is becasue.

A) It's a scary sounding buzzword for the peons. (ex Weapons of Mass Destruction)

B) It allows the staff to warn VKD only without smacking the other members for the swears.
 
and LoP has just stepped down as admin. Coincedence?

Looks like he was forced out for questioning their decision to ban me :roll:

LoP, got a question for you. Since it is rather obvious that Rhea broke the EI profanity rules, how come she didn't get a warning for it??? VKD did.

As LoP clearly said, the warning/suspension wasn't for the profanity, but the masking of it, etc.
 
Not to mention the unmasked useage of those words ALONE is enough to get a warning.

It says so right in your little guidelines.

Covering up the crime before the mods can get there doesn't mean there was no crime LoP.

She needs alot more warnings.

well I guess it's because 'fuckin'' isn't picked up by the filter because she left of the last letter. Anyone else want to test it out? :twisted:

Why this is any different to changing the color of a swear word is beyond me. I guess they were just looking for an excuse to ban me :roll:

I'm still waiting for an explantion on why I didn't recieve the PM they apparently sent me . I guess I won't be getting any.

Rhea's offense was worse than yours in every way. You were just saying naughty words unmasked...

Not only was she doing that, she was flaming and trolling at the same time.

She gets her post edited and NO warning.

That's one weak censor they have over there...

VKD gets a ban for using a color tag and all he had to do was use a little slang. :P

The Admins cannot give out warnings. What does that tell you? Think trolls. Think.

I was banned at Exisles. I didn't flame, troll, use obscenity or get a warning.
Fascism needs no apology. And why would I want to go back there to dwell
under the suzerinty of a weasle? I'm sorry I ever mistook Exisles for a message board.

Once I'm banned I never think of going back. They them masturbate in peace.
