Where is the Random Thread of Randomness stuff that doesn't belong in other threads thread?

Stream of consciousness while cleaning the bathroom: Noticed some what I call "fuck-its" on my pants from walking The Dog. Little flat triangular Velcro-like seeds that cover you if you walk next to the plant they're on (which is almost impossible to spot even if you know what to look for) and said "I hate my life so Goddamn much*" before remembering I'm trying to do all the aspects of being a better Christian and that's straight-up the 3rd Commandment. So this gets me thinking about how words have power--maybe beyond the metaphorical sense, which in turn gets me to thinking about magic words like "abracadabra!" and "open sesame!", which in turn gets me thinking about Ancient Astronauts and time travelers. Do we have magic words because the ancients were visited by people with voice control technology? For that matter, are magic wands remote controls? This is all technology we have right now so if someone with interstellar or time travel technology is almost certainly going to have voice control and/or remote controls for things. That's the compelling thing about the Ancient Astronaut theory--so many things can be filled in by it. There's all the 1970s Von Daniken stuff like space suits and flaming chariots in the sky but for that matter are golems really robots? I'm too lazy to look up the "...technology becomes indistinguishable from magic" quote, but it's really true. Well, I should get going. The tub isn't going to clean itself. And I'm going to get fat and weak if I don't do some pullups and situps.

*Maybe I can lawyer-ball it and say lowercase "goddamn". Then I'm not taking the Lord's Name in vain. I mean, technically "god" isn't the Lord's name anyway but that might be a fine hair to split.

But I guess that doesn't get me off the hook for "Jesus Christ!"
