Where is the Random Thread of Randomness stuff that doesn't belong in other threads thread?

Yeah, it's actually been good for my friend and all of us, I think. He's handling it well, but losing a parent is never a good thing. I don't think it'll really start sinking in for him until he gets back home to Texas and has some time to breathe, but you know how it goes. Some grilling, a modicum of booze and hanging out with people who haven't really hung out together for nearly 20 years has been fun.
