June 27: hot outside now. yuck. also, street full of bulldozers and giant diggers and huge sewage pipes. have to do shopping yet am trying to avoid going outside. could be tricky.
 
6/28-Urgh. I have to be up in 4 hours for work, why am still awake? Plan on being lazy the rest of the day.
 
June 28: All my pain pills are gone, and my niece leaves tomorrow. HAPPY AND SAD ALL AT THE SAME TIME OMG JUST GOING TO DIE OF WITHDRAWALS AND SHIT BUT I CAN SPAM IF i WANT TO.
 
CANADA DAY 2008: worked this AM, going over to beach to see what's up this afternoon. Of course tonight's my favourite part: fireworks! SHINY! oooh! ahhhh!
Everyone have a glass of something and toast our 141st birthday! WHOO!
 
July 1-Urgh. Two more days of work before the 4th of July weekend. Or not. Hung up the phone on some bitch today.(last call of the day) who wouldn't let me get a word in edgewise and called me unprofessional when I finally told her I couldn't help her since I technically don't work for Verizon and I tried to politely end the call. was already past time for me to go home for the day. Hung up phone as she asked for supervisor, took down my workplace addy and then I left. Good chance I will get fired or just in big trouble.

On the bright side looking foward to the 4th festivities at the Empire State Plaza in Albany and a "Get to Know Your Neighbors" Pizza party at our apartment complex on Saturday.
 
July 2: Just realized 4th of July is almost here and I don't have any fire works!! That's gonna suck, not that I'm all into the 4th of July or anything, but it's a great excuse to blow stuff up.
 
YESSSSS! the fireworks here last night were brilliant cos a new guy got the contract and he just came back from winning some competition in Vietnam. I know, I know; potholes on the street and THOUSANDS spent on fireworks for ONE lousy night. And?

July 2: laundry, groceries, consulting with a new client ( busy doctor who just pulled half a dozen lilies in her front yard thinking she was "weeding"); blood donor clinic in 50 minutes...I shall fill up the time waiting spammming teh MF!
 
Just finished packing for a few days in Spain. The only shirts I've packed are all football shirts.

Perhaps it's time to start wearing something different!
 
I hope I can go to Spain... or ANYWHERE over there some day. I want to go to a place that has real old buildings, that are still being used, and artwork that is outside and you can just see it all around cause it's RIGHT THERE.
 
^ I haven't been to Spain, but it's on the list, especially Barcelona, to see Gaudi's architecture. Not in their summer though, (TOO HOT for me) and sometime when La Liga is playing.
 
July 8
working on a painting of an Absinthe Drinker and it is VERY frustrating fuckitasoerptg - having huge trouble painting the hand holding the glass of absinthe.
supposed to go and see Wanted tonight and found out the damn thing doesnt start til 9:50 - bit bloody late for a week night!!! :rwmad:
 
July 8: Day three of the hillbilly invasion. I realized my stepsister sounds like Flo, from the TV show Alice. KISS MY GRITS! She has a screechy voice.. I think she's insane, srsly.
 
July 8: Went to see Hellboy 2(free pre-screening) tonight. It was awesome! Every bit as good as the first one.
 
July 9 - never did see Wanted. Stayed home and saw the Royal Tennenbaums on TV and went to bed at a decent hour.
Water heater (20 years old) started leaking all over basement. As it's a rental, contractors put in a new one today. the old guy who lived in the house before us had covered the outside with insulation and they said dont do that as water gets in between the insulation and the water heater and causes rust = leaks=hot water you pay for on the basement floor.
 
9/7/08 I no longer have job security, fucking resession!

Still got my job, but wether I can say the same in three months, who knows
 
July 9 - only two more days and my suffering will be over. I CAN SURVIVE.

My stepsister not only talks like Flo, she talks in baby talk. High pitched, screechy, hillbilly, baby talk. I AM ALMOST INSANE.
