That would only have intensified the shit in the RR with accusations of ELITEFORGE! and you crying to the mods on top of what was already going down.

But what burned was being called a liar by the very people who were involved in this.

I didn't care if it intensified. I just wanted to know I wasn't being left to completely fend for myself doing what everyone asked me to.

I asked repeatedly if I could post that PM. Everyone knew its contents. Everyone was talking about it. What earthly reason could there be to NOT allow me to post it if everyone already knew what was in it?

I'm sorry, but I dont think being continuously hounded is something that makes me more manly. It's just annoying. I don't go to WF for that. If someone calls me a liar, I ought to be allowed to prove them wrong.

Except the fact that the mods can't join a rep war. Not unless they want to get kicked off the staff.

And if so, I don't see why Storm would invite Tex in on it, since I thought he and Gul got along pretty well.

You knew for certain that Storm had said he may use personal info on Gul because he told you direct. It was alluded to in public.... if he had made that counter claim on Gul, I can understand the need for rooting through Gul's PMs too. AFAIK, Storm didn't, so I don't really see what more evidence you needed.

It does smack of knowing you would have to ban Storm, so you were trying to find something to pin on Gul to take him out too, in all honesty.

So, Tamar Garish, recently put in charge 100% (Or reminded) in case of Elwood's absence, was going to engage in a rep war?

I don't see that happening, of course. But on whose 'authority' did he have it there wouldn't be repercussions?

And if so, I don't see why Storm would invite Tex in on it, since I thought he and Gul got along pretty well.

Maybe he wanted Tex to tip gul off. Redundancies and all.

storm offered, but I know Tamar well enough to say she wouldn't join in on that. And since Storm knows her better than I do, I'm sure he knows that as well.

I know her well enough to know she wouldn't join in, and I barely know her.

Here's the thing which doesn't fit with me. Tamar receives a message saying the authorities won't do anything. Why didn't she step in then and there? Did she think Elwood approved?

If it was meant to be a harmless staff-sanctioned rep war, that's already better than the 'threat' nonsense. But gul still retains every right to be pissed.

Is it ever gonna stop? No elections or anything coming up and so there's nothing else to do anyway. Maybe a terrorist attack or something.

And I know this won't be the end of Wordforge. Most of the people there don't care enough for this to be the end, and I knew that. In three months, people will barely remember why I was banned, and I'm fine with that.

I said before that I didn't believe I could continue posting at WF any longer due to this. I considered staying, as I was assured this matter would be handled.

Then I was called a liar. A shitsmear, a trouble-maker, a pussy, and all manner of things, from both sides of the aisle. Because I refused to name names, as the staff had asked me to, and I'd complied.

But did the staff help me? Did you step in, Tamar, and tell them to lay off? No. You all just wanted me to shut up and take the heat. But what burned was being called a liar by the very people who were involved in this.

I am not a liar. I am not deceitful. As I said to you before, Tamar, my reputation should have spoken for me. Instead, the mods essentially threw me under the bus, hamstrung me and made it impossible to defend myself.

I told gul I was willing to get banned to defend him. But by the time I posted that snippet of a PM, I was so frustrated with everything going on that I didn't care. I thought maybe I'd be banned, maybe I'd just be warned, I don't know. Well, now I do.

I do have one request, though: I'd like my stories in the workshop to be deleted. If I'm not allowed to post there anymore, I don't really think you should have the pleasure of my hard work either.
