Because, obviously, when a poster threatens to post a PM and is reminded if they do so they will be banned as per the rules...by the owner no less, and he does it anyway...that is moderation run amok and he was clearly a victim.

If you had had half a brain you would have posted it here to begin with and not there two seconds after the owner warned you not to or you'd be banned. That is just fucking stupid. It was a righteous ban, like it or not, within the rules.

Which is a lie. I didn't twist it.

But after you started in with that, I just stopped caring if I got banned. Everyone had been smearing my name over this, and I wanted no place there.
So call me an idiot, a liar, or whatever.

I'm done. This whole mess is wrapped up. You're apparently not an admin anymore, and in three weeks everyone will forget I even posted there. All will be calm.

So, whatever. I posted it to prove A) I wasn't afraid of silly repurcussions, and B) I wasn't a liar, like you and others had called me.

I don't think he is mad about the ban. He fully expected it. He is mad about two things, IMO:

  1. That mods knew there was a plan for extreme trolling but ignored it
  2. That when he blew the whistle, people called him a liar
Posting the PM proved the complicity of the mods and that he was not a liar. Quite the honorable thing to do, especially as he knew it would mean banning.

That's what I don't get.

I figured he'd post it here, where one can do so without penalty. No, he posts it there and begs for a ban.

I got into a big fight with some twit once. Instead of doing it on that board (not TrekBBS), I talked him into bringing it here. That way, I could say what I want AND not pull a warning. Perfect.

I just don't get why he didn't post it here.

No, he was too chickenshit to come here, alas. I would have enjoyed that then. Now I pretty much ignore him, because he's just a pathetic idiot.

This is very debatable. I think if I were to publish PMs from there here, I'd be punished. There was a discussion on this before... Tamar paraphrased a PM from Tas and whether or not it was too revealing was discussed, so I think it's entirely possible to be punished for it.
