Doubleposting?

I think you want this to escalate. I think you want to get more cheerleaders in here so that you can dogpile someone whom you stated you 'don't care about.'

Time will tell.
So ... you are doing what? Are you interested in reading about my dog or some personal accomplishments I'm proud of or are you here to support RWC & Rattles in their attack on me: Part Deux?

e, re your question about on-line Scrabble: I did find a site 2 or 3 years ago but the people playing there were waaay faster than me...I just didn't/don't have the time to invest in speedy on-line Scrabble...I'm more the playing -a - friendly -game -after-dinner-type.

This is exactly the sort of polarization I don't care for. I came in as Kefka because I didn't care for Enk's immediate trickle of an eventual flood of groupthink.

I have nothing against you, or her. You're letting yourself get sucked into this, and I won't idly stand by being bashed for pointing it out.

Interesting. Sounds very similar to an argument I've heard before. You are right, however. I have let myself get sucked into it. I should do as most posters here do when those two appear and just tell them to shut up from the beginning. Honestly, they are like fever blisters.

Me too. I do play at a chess site online because I can take up to three days in between moves. I don't usually take that much time but it is nice to have it. If you're ever interested in playing online, let me know and I'll send you the site and my player name for a game.

The more I look at these wheelchairs and carts for disabled dogs, the more I think I'm going to have to have Tyler's special made. He is not quadraplegic, his front legs are strong, he'll need help keeping balanced so that is full-body support. I need an engineer!

Very cool ... found a better design, easier to build, and not very expensive either. He'll have to stay in the rooms there is enough space to turn around in but that has got to be better than being limited to wall hugging. It is basically a square frame, casters on front and back legs, with material stretched across the interior to support his whole body. If I put a zipper or buttons on one edge of the material, I can set the cart down over him then pull the saddle underneath him and attach it to the other side of the frame. It would be far easier on him (and me) to get him up on all fours than to lift him up completely and try to set him down in a harness.

Here is the basic concept:

Yes, I know for some people this seems like alot of trouble for one old dog. But, this old dog has been mine since the minute he was born - his parents were my dogs too. He's been a good friend, loyal, and protective for 14 years. As long as he's got the will to live, then I'll do what I can to make his life as comfortable as possible.

You would subject your dog to such a humiliating existence?

You have no soul, no heart nor sense of honour.

VKD - actually, from what I'm finding, many disabled pets are living better lives with these carts and wheelchairs. It even helps in rehabilitating them while providing solutions for their mobility issues. The poor pet is the one that wishes to live but the person allowed to make decisions for that pet determines it is too inconvenient. Tyler will still die. All living things do. If it is any consolation, if you were the one with mobility issues, I'd advocate someone help you.

Old dog is getting spoiled. He refused to eat the Bil-Jac, the wet food, or the Ensure. He had to have a hamburger!
