I saw your post, Jack - damn, another pox on my head cause I looked again.

It is a good post but Gode has already brushed it off as a parody and that is a-okay, unless you are on the Shit List, then I'm sure there is some article/section to apply. Guarantee a parody from someone on the shit list isn't the same, though - because, well, it isn't.

So I did a search in the Filk and Poetry forum. He has only posted 3 times in that forum, May '03, Aug '04 and Nov '05. His intention was to clearly insult, otherwise... what was the purpose to post it in The Beach and not in the Filk and Poetry fourm with his other work?
 
I posted in the Beach thread about Orphala's filk, but I must be on everyone's ignore list or invisible.

I see the suggestion by Gode was to drag this thread off to the poetry section where it can be buried in the back garden so no one will be bothered by it. Anything to save one of their own. Why can't they just acknowledge that the Big O screwed up, wasn't funny, and he should just delete his post and put in place an apology?
 
Well, in all fairness, he DID apologize. And he did write in the beginning that the filk was NOT intended to offend anyone. That too was ignored. Meh...

Siegfried is not porn - he is a nude sun worshipper. A little light on the subject is always good. Porn is )O, }(, %^ and ..!!.. If you are going to be an EI Watchdog, you must know these things.

I'd post it for you Rob, except, at the moment, posting over there is akin to immersing myself in shit. I'm a delicate being with a real aversion to shit. It is something to expel from my person and flush down the toilet, not something with which to socialize. If it has not been posted by the time I'm up to staring a turd in the face, I'll post it.

My other thought on this issue is that, anyone who adds a disclaimer prior to posting, knows damn well that they are going to offend. Or they would have not included the disclaimer to cover their ass in the first place. This is what he wrote.

You made an excellent post!!!!! Of course the 'Be Most Excellent' players are not going to acknowledge it because of who made that post. Someone needs to quote you and make it stand out.

Boy are you right. Lets hide it the FILK quickly.
