Well, even passing by the obvious misremembering of "45" for "several", the operative subject there is "too many people". The jump from there being too many people to assuming that all of the group in "too many" are automatically also in the group "illegal immigrants" was your logical blunder, not mine.

If you'd mentioned other groups in your post that might be a reasonable arugment, but all you did was refer to the "topic of this thread." If you only refer to illegal immigrants, then there's no basis upon which to claim you were refering to anybody else.
