What film did you recently see ? Do not forget to rate it

Drag Me To Hell

Classic Raimi. He even did a few homages to his Evil Dead films. Truly a fun suspense horror film. The ending was a bit predictable though, but watching what happens is the cool part.

8/10

Inglorious Basterds (if I may repeat Marquis)

It's not Tarantino's best work, but it's still damn good. Pitt keeps taking on more and more fun roles and doing them very well. I'm starting to enjoy almost every film he's been doing recently.

9/10

Observe and Report

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRRRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG

There are only three redeeming moments in that film and that's it. I like Seth Rogen and think that he can land some really funny roles and pull it off if he tried, but this last one was just crap.

3/10

I Love You Man

Terrific funny movie, although it's a lot on the cute side. Reminded me of Knocked Up in a way. It's a buddy film and does a good job at not being overly campy.

7/10

The Hangover

Cheap physical comedy that's timed perfectly with one or two golden lines in it. An interesting concept though. Felt like I was watching Dude, Where's My Car? only funny and good. Brad Cooper dominated the screen whenever he was on. Great performance.

8/10

District 9

Pretty fukken cool concept, bad delivery. I wish they had stuck to either being a documentary or a third person perspective. The switching back and forth, just made it too choppy. Ending is spectacular and worth watching one really annoying character for nearly an hour and a half.

Zombieland: 7/10

It is what it is, a zombie movie. However, it does manage to capture some funny moments, and was worth the quid.

My favrit film I've seen this year though would have to be "REC". Insane POV zombie flick that starts out flat and becomes one of the GREAT zombie flicks. In portuguese, with subtitles.

Highly RECommended LOL

the new tim burton animation, called 9 or something 9/10

not as good as nightmare b4 christmas but v goood

GI Joe was a lot of fun. It was just like the 80's cartoon. Really. JUST like the 80's cartoon. A couple times I started to roll my eyes at the rediculousness, and then remembered that they did the same damn stuff in the cartoon and I laughed instead. The cast was enjoyable, except for Duke. He was too passive, and a weak link. I prefer to think of him as being so passive because in a way the audience was Duke; and seeing the movie through his eyes. Anyways now that the Channing Tatum male dancer video was leaked my estimation and entertainment has moved up one or two notches.

Storm Shadow was so cool.
I was disappointed to see him die; but not only does he probably have nanomites fixing him back up, he also dies and falls into icy waters in the comics, only to come back.

The toys are great fun. Having trouble finding the doctor. Beware, if you don't/didn't like the cartoon this is not the movie for you.

I just saw Sienna Miller live on Broadway in After Miss Julie, and she's pretty remarkable.

Damn, and here I was glad I only spent four bucks on that shite. The guy who played Storm Shadow was hot, so that moves it from a 0-1 on my rating. Utter fucking BS.

Like she said Tis. You really need to be a fan of the cartoon/comics. Otherwise, it's a craptacular Mortal Kombat-esque fan movie.

Really Dual? I thought that movie was supposed to be better than that.

I just saw Old Dogs with John Travolta and Robin Williams. I give it a -9/10

It was so stuid, but had a cutesy storyline to it. Thats a minus 9.

This is old to some of you but I finally got to see the rest of Gran Torino last night. As always Eastwood proves he's got director chops. The ending didn't go the way I expected it to, exactly, but I knew something of that sort was coming. The acting by the asians could have been a lot better. In all, definitely worth seeing via rental. 7.5/10 stars.

Gnaw! Food of the Gods II

Saw this late at night when I was younger, and found it on the 'net recently. Some rats ingest a super hormone that causes them to grow as big as ponies.

It had a delightfully cheesy moment when the one good rat, an albino female rat who must have remembered her scientist master, was getting shot in a police kill zone. All that was missing was as little violin smiley.

Nothing notable except for the creepily realistic gigantism in the rats. Some facial traits were larger than others, just like what you'd expect.

Did I mention the scientist was looking for a way to reverse the effects of the hormone on a boy? Heeeeeere's Bobby!
