NEW SHOWS

This is probably blocked outside the US because SYFY sucks donkey balls.

Human race wiped out. Must be Tuesday.

The time travel aspect looks cool, which means I should probably watch the Terry Gilliam movie. I think I never bothered because Bruce Willis. And I heard that young Brad Pitt wasn't naked enough.

There's no energy in the Badlands since Dark Pickle left!

It's like Warehouse 13 with a big budget and better actors! IT MIGHT SUCK BUT I'M GONNA WATCH IT ANYWAY.

I never watched the made for tv movies this is based on, I didn't even know they existed somehow. Noah Wylie is going to be in the series too.

It looks quite cheap but that's probably on purpose? Might be entertaining but I'll probably never watch it!

It was rather silly, but still entertaining. Noah Wylie is THE LIBRARIAN and he was trying to pull off the sorta Matt Smith type of Doctor Who character OR SOMETHING? He's not that great at goofy genius, IMO. Apparently he's not going to be the main character in the series, but he will pop in from time to time. Rebecca Romijn is the guardian of the librarian, and for two hours she went about being the guardian and then at the end she kissed Noah Wylie because apparently they were being attracted to each other the whole time but I couldn't tell because they have no chemistry lol. OH YEAH, and one of the characters is like Gary from Alphas, but instead of autism she has a tumor!

John Larroquette, Jane Curtain, Matt Frewer (MAX HEADROOM!), and Bob Newhart are in it. I think John Larroquette is going to be recurring regularly, but I don't know about the rest of them.

I love Bob Newhart and Jane Curtin, but I'm over John Larroqette and his bombastic ass. So of course he's the one that we'll see every week.

I don't think he's capable of playing any other part.

@Cassie - I was a little weirded out by the whole wacky Librarian gimmick Noah Wylie was trying to pull off too. It just doesn't work for him. I don't know how they're going to work this as a full on series. I enjoy the Thanksgiving specials they always put out and there was always just one mission to accomplish. Now they set it up so that "magic is loose in the world again" and of course that's a bad thing, so everyone has to run around trying to bottle it up again. I just don't see how they're going to make it interesting each week aside from maybe splintering off 'distractions' on the way to the main point?

Oh and every time I see this thread's title my mind's eye sees "NEW SHOES" and I get all excited. lol

I watched The Librarians again. Noah Wylie wasn't in the episode at all, and it was probably a little better without him, IMO. I think he's a cutie but I JUST DON'T KNOW. Also Cassandra should just kick the douchebag cowboy genius in the nuts and forget about trying to make him like her.

AND ALSO Ascension starts tonight on SyFy, which reminds me Tricia Helfer was in last night's The Librarians. She is still my favorite toaster. ARE YOU ALIVE?

It was alright, but nothing to go out of your way to watch IMO. There are cute girls and STUFF.
