The Walking Dead season 5

I would like to see the survivors change their ways. I'd like to see them band together to try and build a new civilization where they can stop living on the run. I'd like to see them coordinate putting down the zombies, which they are going to have to do in order to survive. I appreciate the steady devolvement of humanity since the crisis began but at some point humans get back on the path to recovery because that is what we do. Yes, I remember we've had semblances of civilized behavior but they always had an undercurrent that would ultimately lead to its failure. Time to see the shining side of humanity appear.

Humanity has no shining side. We are a brutal, brutish, murderous species and we will be until we finally make our environment too toxic to sustain us.

No one is paranoid. Where the hell did you get that from my reply?
question.

Because of Jack?
answer.

it seems that you and gear are always making sure you're around throwing digs at jack
more answer.

your failed troll on my site and you didn't like getting the crap treatment by my members done to you that you give everyone else you find you are not going to like
How would you know this, Notjack?

How do I know you were running a troll? Easy.
More more answer to the paranoid question. It's called the troll of no troll. He's fucking aces at it.

You haven't even bothered to come back and read your last PM that I sent you.
Why that dirty troll has you right where he wants you! On your site with him not there!

Don't bother. I'm not in the mood for silly troll games.
Says Notjack, earnestly, in the hopes people will believe.

There was no paranoia about your joining,
Then why wasn't I allowed in? I told you I had no ulterior motive besides idle curiosity. Surely your people aren't afraid of one person?

I simply saw through the troll effort and it was obvious my members didn't want you around.
More more more answer to the paranoid question.

And you just keep trying to say there is no Flaglerchat/Mannix
Pretty sure there isn't.

and call me delusional, if that's what makes you feel better
Nah...too easy.

They were trying to do that in this latest arc, but the guy turns out to be a liar. Rick's premise a couple weeks ago in speaking to Carl was simply put; "You're not safe. Never let your guard down."

re the Walkers, it's that metaphor for disease out of control/payback for your sins, etc. Once started, it can't be contained.

Romero was right after all...."when there's no more room in hell, the dead will walk the earth".

Now I'm for some coffee and watch last nights episode, was out way too late last night to catch it "live" ;)

Kirkman is pretty clear on the fact that Walking Dead is a horror series and that nobody in it should expect a happy ending. He's gone so far as to state the Walking Dend doesn't refer to zombies at all, but the doomed survivors.

LOL right? They couldn't figure out how to unzip, poor t'ings. Plus this episode was all about Carol, which made me pretty happy. She's always been my favorite character. She taught Beth to survive, and it looks like they're threading that she was a survior (of childhood abuse) herself.

I'm still trying to figure out why it's so important to bury them instead of just burn and leave, as well as who those two zombies were they killed behind the glass door that Daryl buried, because he was burning some of them too it appeared. I remember Laurie being adamant about burying the ones of theirs that were killed and came back and killed again.

I was worried when the "previously..." bit showed that it was a Carol episode, after all this talk of her dying. Glad she survived at least through into next week, even if it's only picking up where we left off before.

Forcing a van to fall off a bridge isn't a plan!

We thought the same about the Last of Us similarities and wondered if a bridge seen at one point was even a nod to the landmark in the game.

They were in a battered spouse shelter, the two zombies behind the glass were woman and child shaped so I think it's safe to assume they were abuse victims at the shelter when the plaque hit. Which was tragic enough but then they showed how gently Daryl was treating the body when he carried it to the pyre. It was actually a beautifully done scene.

I wish Agent Sitwell had whispered "hail Hydra" before he smashed Sasha's head into the window.

I'd accept a strawberry from Beth.

Noah be all like "Dude I VOUCHED for you, bro!"
Squishy zombie target practice is a stupid reason to let dude up anyway.
