We're back: A dinosaur's story - Released in 1993, is a "Stephen Spielberg Presents". Ok, I figure Spielberg and Dinosaurs, a no-brainer for my son. I made the mistake of watching it with him.
This was the most un-mitigated MESS of a movie, animated or live-action, that I've seen in years. The writing was awful, lazy, even my son was asking "why did they do that?", and all I could answer was "Because some writer couldn't write his way out of it so they just "miraculously" did this." Even the voice-actors slipped in and out of New York Accents of various kinds. The rest phoned it in.
A little more than an hour of my life wasted. And my son's for that matter. Just a BAD movie, and with the names behind it, I did expect something better.
I'll give it a coveted "0 out of 4 stars". I have to believe that it took work and forethought to make a move this bad, even if it's aimed at kids.
