At least they've figured out a way to keep Vane from killing or trying to kill Eleanor and Flint. Maybe he'll be all in love with her again and they'll rescue her.
 
He's alive, they're going to put him on trial and hang him. I bet the daughter of the governor (I still can't remember her name) will help with his rescue. I wonder if she'll go off with the pirates so she can get Billy's bone!

Yeah, she did have quite the crush on Billy.
 
I think Billy put the idea in his head, but John probably convinced him.

Pandora, they didn't show the conversation on camera, when Vane found John they cut away to Vane being on the deck.

Ah OK. I didn't miss anything then. I thought maybe I fell asleep for a couple of minutes and missed something.

John's slick with his words and seems to manage to get himself out of sticky situations quite often. I wonder how long his luck on this gift will hold out?

That was one of the most satisfying season finales for any show EVER (well probably not ever but i have a terrible memory, OKAY).

Anyone who didn't see the tease for next season should know that I spotted Eleanor alive and well. I think she was on the deck of a ship, but I can't be certain.
 
THAT'S GOOD because Hannah New wasn't even in the credits for this episode so I was worried. She needs to come back and slap down Max.

Was the real Charleston ever destroyed by pirates?

I hope John gets his parrot next season!
 
It was regularly attacked by pirates but I don't think it was ever destroyed by them like that.
 
Finally got to catch up on things recorded. This was a good season finale!

Do you think the alliance between Flint and Vane will now continue instead of Vane's original plan to off Flint at some point? The discovery of the sale of the info kind of changed things.
 
Then team up against Blackbeard but then they'll all get drunk together and have a pirate party and blow up some towns for fun.
